Position Overview:

As a Dispatch Officer at Shaw Secure Solutions LLC, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating and managing our security personnel’s activities. You will be responsible for ensuring that our security officers are deployed to the right locations at the right times and that all communications are clear and effective.

Key Responsibilities:

• Efficiently and accurately dispatch security personnel to various assignments and locations.
• Maintain constant communication with security officers in the field, providing support, updates, and guidance as needed.
• Monitor alarm systems and respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies.
• Act as a central point of contact for clients and personnel, answering calls and addressing inquiries professionally.
• Utilize our computer-aided dispatch (CAD) system to track officer locations and assignments.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of security services.
• Document all incidents, actions taken, and communications in a clear and concise manner.
• Maintain a strong understanding of our security protocols, emergency response procedures, and company policies.
• Remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations and provide appropriate guidance to security personnel during emergencies.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; further education or relevant certifications are a plus.
• Proven experience in a dispatch or coordination role, preferably in a security-related field.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong ability to relay information clearly and concisely.
• Proficiency in using computer-aided dispatch systems and other relevant software.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, sound decisions in high-stress situations.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Prior experience in the security industry and knowledge of security procedures is advantageous.
